Building an accessible, bilingual eLearning platform to support survivors of gender-based violence.
The Challenge
The Life After Impact project was developed through a partnership between the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) and the Government of Ontario to provide accessible, evidence-based education for individuals impacted by gender-based violence, along with their families, caregivers, and support professionals.
The goal was to transform complex and sensitive educational content into an engaging online learning experience that could be accessed anywhere in Ontario — fully bilingual, highly accessible, trauma-informed, and intuitive for users with a wide range of learning and accessibility needs.
